The monthly (average) cost of living in Canada for international students is usually between 600 and 800 CA$ for food and other daily expenses, excluding accommodation. For instance, having breakfast or dinner at a restaurant can cost somewhere between 10 and 15 CA$ per person. But there are alternatives where student generally use shared accomodation and common food areas, where they can cook, this way the cost can be economised, which can actually bring the cost to 300 to 400 CA$, again depending upon the area of stay.

Average Fees

A Post Graduate degree can cost from 8000 CA$ to 23000 CA$ depending upon the University, Province etc. For a 3 year graduate degree you can expect from 27000 CA$ to 48000 CA$ for a 3 year programme. For international students, undergraduate tuition fees is around £10,000 - £30,000 per year for full-time courses. Note that the higher range is for medical degrees at the best colleges. However, on average, international undergraduate fees is around £12,000 per year.

For postgraduate degrees, the average tuition fees for international students for full-time programs range from £10,000 - £13,000 per year. For laboratory and research-based programs, average annual fees stand at £14,000. For medical degrees, the average figure is £22,200 and it can go up to £58,000.
